Back to Earth engages you in a transmedia experience that leads you on a journey to uncover the deepest secrets of our (un)reality. The interactive story unfolds through blogs, online communities, short stories, videos and social media.

StarCredits are the cryptographic token for the Back to Earth narrative. This digital asset enhances the user experience no matter the method or depth of engagement. StarCredits have inherent value within the project and unlock clues, trigger events, verify elements of the story, and can be exchanged for other assets or commodities

THE
STORY OF BACK TO EARTH

A new technology has turned the human race into aggressive and brain dead animals. A few survivors must brave this new world in order to rediscover humanity and save themselves. Their story will lead you to apps, websites, social media pages, phone numbers, and physical locations that cause you to question reality and blur the lines between fact and fiction. It's an experience aimed at a mass audience, but that begins with the cryptocurrency community.

WHAT IS
AN ALTERNATE REALITY GAME

An Alternate Reality Game (ARG) is a game which uses multimedia to tell an interactive story that unfolds in real time. In ARG's, players work together to help solve plot-based puzzles in order to uncover the mysteries the game presents. ARG's come in many forms, from the "Why so Serious" Dark Knight Campaign to Sundance's "Pandemic." Some don’t necessarily have a narrative, such as the Pokemon Go mobile app — though a lack of narration has potentially proven fatal for Pokemon Go.

In Back to Earth, players who engage in the story can be presented with rewards and other content. The deeper they dig, the more they will find.

The game will use a native token, StarCredits, that will have an inherent value in the game.

STARCREDITS (SRC) is the crypto-based token for Back to Earth, and will be used to:
  • Sway real-time story outcomes
  • Earn in-game content
  • Unlock special features
  • Discover hidden puzzles
  • Purchase specific storylines
And more!

The use of StarCredits gives players a competitive advantage towards solving certain puzzles and discovering in-game content. This content may act as an asset that can be collected or traded to other players.

DEFLATIONARY ECONOMICS

There will never be more than 20,000,000 StarCredits.

All SRC that is used to interact with Back to Earth content WILL NOT be returned to the game creators. Instead, this SRC will be removed from existence, causing a natural decrease in supply.

Properly engaging the audience will cause an increase of demand for a token that gets rarer as the game progresses.

The Back to Earth crowdfund campaign may be the most elusive crowdfund in the crypto industry. In order to join you will need to receive a referral link either from us or from a community member. Join our Newsletter and Telegram to get closer to the action! When you join the crowdfund you will receive a personal referral link that can be given to your friends and followers. Your link will reward you with 50 StarCredits for anyone who follows it and donates a minimum of .05 BTC.

We will be distributing 4,000,000 SRC tokens at the rate of .0001875 BTC per SRC. An additional 500,000 SRC will be distributed through referral rewards.

The remaining SRC supply will be locked up in a smart contract that Back to Earth cannot access for 4-12 months.

USE OF CFC FUNDS

The CFC will fund the expansion of the Back to Earth experience over multiple media channels, time, and space.

This project is more than just a passive diversion. It will stimulate collaboration, problem solving, and activity among its followers and participants within today’s society. The narrative will unfold through a mobile app, web shorts, artwork, ebooks, live events and other interactive media to encourage continuous engagement. Each component can be enjoyed out of context, but fans participating on all levels will have the privilege of learning the complete story.


The goal for the Back to Earth transmedia experience is to captivate as many people as possible, and to introduce them to new experiences, ideas, communities and forms of entertainment. Our team is dedicated to crafting content that is entertaining and engaging on multiple levels, allowing the audience to grow with the story.

Back to Earth Productions is creating a transmedia universe powered by our digital token StarCredits. In the 21st Century, stories have expanded to inhabit multiple screens and varying mediums. We intend to build the Back to Earth story from the ground up in order to engage audience members on multiple platforms and inspire a new generation of storytelling and creation.

CLAY SPACE
Founder, Creative Director

Clay Space has been cast in shows on AMC, NBC, and WGN. His credits include Better Call Saul, The Night Shift, and Manhattan, as well as multiple web series and a feature length film. He's a student, short fiction writer and playwright. His national award winning short story, City Man, was just republished in Great Jones Street.

Recently, Clay produced the short horror film Die Together. The marketing campaign behind the film perpetuated the myth that a part of the University of New Mexico campus was haunted. Actors took video footage of a mysterious ghost girl on the school campus and released the footage to Facebook. The myth went viral, attracting attention from the media and sending hundreds of students to UNM in order to catch a glimpse of this apparition. View Clay's IMDB Profile
 

MARSHALL STOKES
ADVISOR

We are all susceptible to the pull of viral ideas. Like mass hysteria. Or a tune that gets into your head that you keep humming all day until you spread it to someone else. Jokes. Urban legends. Crackpot religions. Marxism. No matter how smart we get, there is always this deep irrational part that makes us potential hosts for self-replicating information.

The story itself, the true story, is the one that the audience members create in their minds, guided and shaped by my text, but then transformed, elucidated, expanded, edited, and clarified by their own experience, their own desires, their own hopes and fears.

Michele is a writer, situation analyst and strategist, performer, mathematician, event coordinator, IT consultant, and often the only woman in the room.

Her hobbies include creative thinking, cognitive psychology, and reading - fiction in particular and especially sci-fi/fantasy. She loves to travel, and enjoys logical analysis, optimization, and Futurama.

She delights in challenging senior management to devise innovative strategies to connect Back to Earth with a diverse, ever-expanding and increasingly vocal audience.

 

SHAD ADAIR
PRODUCER

Shad is a producer, writer and actor based out of Albuquerque, New Mexico. He is featured in a number of films including: Independence Day: Resurgence (2016), Gold (2016) and The Space Between Us (2016). Detailed credits can be found at IMDB or shadadair.com

Shad also currently serves as the Chairman for Albuquerque SCORE Chapter 0067 where he champions economic development issues and personally mentors a variety of small businesses.

As an entrepreneur and investor he serves on the advisory board of enterprise software and services firms providing perspective on sales enablement and growth strategies. He serves as an advisor to the following organizations: Talentura.com; Univ. of New Mexico School of Business Venture Program; CNM STEMulus Ignite Accelerator Program; ABQ SCORE Small Business Administration; & Corporate Fellow CMU Information Management Institute.
 

KEVIN SCHULMEISTER
PRODUCER

Kevin is a director and producer based in Albuquerque, NM. During his 8 years in the film industry, he has worked on projects of many calibers, including live production and big budget features. His credits include Fort Bliss, The Counselor, and The Bridge.

Recently, Kevin was a Project Greenlight finalist for his project on human trafficking. He is currently an executive producer on the web series comedy Thank You, 5, and has helped produce several award winning shorts, including Good Cop, Good Cop, Slow Wallet, and Buffalo.

Outside of film production, Kevin is additionally a studio manager, and spends his time working to build local film production in New Mexico.
